Yes. So it's officially... what? half a year since I last posted? LOL! :P
ANYWAYS! now i'm here, and that's what matters. LIVE IN THE NOW PEOPLE. :D
Currently sitting at a desk in Westminster, London at Policy Exchange (this thinktank for the government), and having nothing to do. LOL! see, i'm THAT efficient. I finished all my work in the morning. and now i'm stoning. joy.
London has been pretty good this week. Work in the afternoon and fun in the evening :D Last night i went to the palladium theatre to watch the sister act. it was IMMENSE. nothing to describe it.. just generally amazing.. everyone gave a standing ovation at the end. LOL!
I better explain why I'm in London... LOL! i'm doing work experience. Which is like a week (mon to fri) of unpaid work... It looks amazing on ur cv and universities like it. LOL! especially when it's somewhere cool. This holiday i've had work experience at... the easter daily press (the regional newspaper)! IT WAS THE MOST AMZING WORK EXPERIENCE EVER! because i was there the week of the by elections, loads of london ministers came down to little old norwich to support their candidates. So i got to go meet and interview them. people like david cameron (the most probable next prime minister, leader of the conservative party) *and he was so cool!* aand alistair darling (chancellor of the exchequer, so l;ike the person who governs t he money). I also got to meet the candidates which was pretty cool. but i didn't get to vote since i'm not 18 yet, so that was wasted.
THEN! i had work experience at East Anglian Chambers, which is like the place where barristers work. So i got to follow them into court and watch them fight cases. That was quite interesting, especially in criminal cases. Some of the defendants were PRETTTYYY WEIRD. :P AND! the funny thing is.. ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE COURT.. like the legal representatives, had Iphones. it was soo synchronised it wasn't even funny.
NEXT. i had work experience at colchester, the children's legal centre. that was pretty boring. didn't really do much. had to commute daily to colchester though, and that was a pain. Luckily, the rail strikes on that thursday and friday stopped me from having to go at the end of the week. Serependipity :D
Last Thursday I got my results back from the last batch of AS and A levels. I'm pretty content with them, so life is good. LOL! going back to school the week after the next... eeeps. AND I HAVE YET TO FINISH READING ALL MY LITERATURE BOOKS. but seriously... the books are quite rubbish. James joyce and virginia woolf? UGH. WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE THEM.
i shall stop ranting now.
LOL!
BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
